The Chiffon Sisters

I guess if you have three you have a collection. (remember the aqua one last week?) I found these two pink girls on one of our "Wild Goose Chase" thrift hunts last week. The pale one is light chiffon, simple and sweet. The bright one is from St Petersburg, FL (on the label) and looks like she must have had a pretty Glam life! Her rhinestone buttons have lost many of their stones...she has a few rips and tatters here and there...but I love her! I love these old gowns and housecoats! Especially the floaty chiffon ones!

Hey! Tell me about the ones you have!

Petticoat Junk-tion

Well, Every Friday morning this summer, my mom, my daughter, my Shih Tzu, and I have gone yard-saleing! We have found some nice treasures, some good sales...some not so good... but this one, a couple of weeks back, was a real find!

I walked into this garage and saw these petticoats hanging up in a row! I grabbed them all before anyone else could! We ALWAYS need another petticoat! My DD is always in some sort of play, choral performance, or some other need for dress up...(you know, because it's Thursday or something).. and we have a giant pile of these thingies. TuTu Fun!!!

Hands Off! I found them first!...........:)

I Love Aqua!

You all know that I love Pink...Obviously!! But, I have a equal love for AQUA!
We went junking a while back in another town, and I found this Fabulous Aqua Chiffon Nightie Set at Salvation Army. I was immediately drawn to the Dreamy Color!
This looks to be from the 60's, around the Doris Day, (another FAV), era.

After a good soaking and fresh air drying, I thought I might list her in my LPT shop on Etsy, but I don't know...I just LOVE the COLOR! I might have to keep her in my "hang it on the wall" collection!
